Coffee Cultivation and Agroforestry Baseline Survey in Jambi
This publication shares findings from an agroforestry feasibility study for the coffee sector in Kerinci and Merangin Regencies in Jambi. The research aims to promote a better regenerative and climate-smart approach to support the Payment for Ecosystem Servies initiative and coffee programme. We conducted this study with our partners, Koerintji Barokah Bersama Cooperative and Cahaya Puncak Merangin Cooperative. (The report is currently only available in Indonesian).
Storybook: Digital-based Farming and Agripreneurship to Support Youth Engagement in Agriculture Sector
Rikolto collaborated with ASEAN & Maybank Foundation to empower 50 young farmers in Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi province in Indonesia, to utilise digital technologies for post-harvest and derivative product businesses. In this storybook, we share highlights, insights, and stories from the project.
What will we eat tomorrow?
Between March and August 2019, three journalists from the digital platform Eos Tracé visited partner cities of Rikolto’s Food Smart Cities programme. During these visits, they interviewed more than 130 people and discovered initiatives that make safer, healthier and more sustainable food accessible to citizens. This book tells their stories from 9 cities in Vietnam, Belgium, Tanzania, Indonesia, Ecuador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
